1. INTRODUCTION OF COMPUTER HARDWARE:-

1. What Is Hardware..?
    Computer Hardware :-
Computer Hardware Includes The Physical Parts Of A Computer, Such As The Case, Central Processing Unit (CPU), Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Computer Data Storage, Graphics Card, Sound Card, Speakers And Motherboard. By Contrast, Software Is The Set Of Instructions That Can Be Stored And Run By Hardware.

    1. Is The Physical Components of The Computer, Refers To The Tangible (Things You Can Touch)
    2. Components of A Computer System.

2. HARDWARE COMPONENTS ARE FURTHER DIVIDED INTO THREE GROUPS :-
    1. Input Devices.
    2. Output Devices.
    3. System Unit.

3. INPUT DEVICES:-
An Input Device Lets You Communicate With A Computer You Can Use Input Devices To Enter Information And Issue Commands.
In Computing, An Input Device Is A Piece Of Equipment Used To Provide Data And Control Signals To An Information Processing System Such As A Computer Or Information Appliance. Examples Of Input Devices Include Keyboards, Mouse, Scanners, Cameras, Joysticks, Microphones And Etc.

1. KEYBOARD :-
A Computer Keyboard Is An Input Device That Allows A Person To Enter Letters, Numbers, And Other Symbols (Together, These Are Called Characters) Into A Computer. It Is One Of The Most Used Input Devices For Computers. Using A Keyboard Is Often Called Typing.

KEYS & DESCRIPTION :-

i) TYPING KEYS :-
These Keys Include The Letter Keys (A-Z) And Digit Keys (09) Which Generally Give The Same Layout As That Of Typewriters.

ii) NUMERIC KEYPAD :-
It Is Used To Enter The Numeric Data Or Cursor Movement. Generally, It Consists Of A Set Of 17 Keys That Are Laid Out In The Same Configuration Used By Most Adding Machines And Calculators.

iii) FUNCTION KEYS :-
The Twelve Function Keys Are Present On The Keyboard Which Are Arranged In A Row At The Top Of The Keyboard. Each Function Key Has A Unique Meaning And Is Used For Some Specific Purpose.

iv) CONTROL KEYS :-
These Keys Provide Cursor And Screen Control. It Includes Four Directional Arrow Keys. Control Keys Also Include Home, End, Insert, Delete, Page Up, Page Down, Control(Ctrl), Alternate(Alt), Escape(Esc).

v) SPECIAL PURPOSE KEYS :-
Keyboard Also Contains Some Special Purpose Keys Such As Enter, Shift, Caps Lock, Num Lock, Space Bar, Tab, And Print Screen.

2. MOUSE :-
A Computer Mouse (Plural Mice, Rarely Mouses) Is A Hand-Held Pointing Device That Detects Two-Dimensional Motion Relative To A Surface. This Motion Is Typically Translated Into The Motion Of A Pointer On A Display, Which Allows A Smooth Control Of The Graphical User Interface Of A Computer.
Moving A Mouse Along A Flat Surface Can Move The Cursor To Different Items On The Screen. Items Can Be Moved Or Selected By Pressing The Mouse Buttons (Called Clicking). Today's Mice Have Two Buttons, The Left Button And Right Button, With A Scroll Wheel In Between The Two.

i) ADVANTAGES  OF  MOUSE :-
    1. Easy To Use
    2. Not Very Expensive
    3. Moves The Cursor Faster Than The Arrow Keys Of The Keyboard.

3. JOYSTICK :-
A Joystick Is An Input Device Consisting Of A Stick That Pivots On A Base And Reports Its Angle Or Direction To The Device It Is Controlling Joysticks Are Often Used To Control Video Games, And Usually Have One Or More Push-Buttons Whose State Can Also Be Read By The Computer.

4.  TRACK BALL :-
A Trackball Is A Pointing Device Consisting Of A Ball Held By A Socket Containing Sensors To Detect A Rotation Of The Ball About Two Axes—Like An Upside-Down Mouse With An Exposed Protruding Ball Large Trackballs Are Common On CAD Workstations For Easy Precision.

5. LIGHT PEN :-
A Light Pen Is A Computer Input Device In The Form Of A Light-Sensitive Wand Used In Conjunction With A Computer's Cathode-Ray Tube (CRT) Display. It Allows The User To Point To Displayed Objects Or Draw On The Screen In A Similar Way To A Touch Screen But With Greater Positional Accuracy.
Write, Or Issue Command When It Touches A Specially Designed Screen.
